Ballkids play an integral role in ensuring that tennis tournaments run smoothly… . A big shout out to all the Ballkids this year who have trained for many many months to get their skills perfect and also the mums and dads who have supported them with transport etc to get them to and from training and then the AO itself! It takes time, effort and dedication to be a Ballkid.

Mietta Corby (3 Girls) and Finn Corby (3 Boys White) were two of this years Ballkids. Mum Lyn is understandably very proud … “Mietta and Finn have just completed their 3 weeks as Ballkids at the Australian Open. What a great experience for them both. They were able to ballkid for some great players in many divisions including mens, womens, juniors, wheelchair and legends”
